It was a good year for music - maybe even great, though it's always hard to tell on these things,  since so much depends on how closely you're paying attention.  This year I was paying close attention, and here's what came out on top.

I'm still wading through my final bout of listening. But as always, your list has given me a number of things to check out. At this point I think we only have two discs in common.

I'd strongly recommend you check out Caribou, Deerhunter, and maaaybe the Golden Filter. Do you have your list up anywhere yet?

Have you listened to the Guido album, Anidea? It seems compatible with the other "post-dubstep" tastes.

I checked it. Good stuff, though I prefer a bit more post- in my dubstep.
